Stoup Brewing- A friendly NW craft brewery in Seattle’s beer-loving Ballard neighborhood.

What happens when nerds get into beer? Same thing that happens when nerds get into anything, really. Total obsession. Also, a bunch of awards. Back in 2013, a wine-marketing pro (Lara) and her forensic chemist husband (Brad) teamed up with Robyn, the first woman in Washington state to become a Certified Cicerone (“beer sommelier”), to change their Ballad neighborhood with the power of science. And by “science,” I mean great beer served in a family-friendly, community-building space. Stoup Brewing was born.
Taprooms all over the PNW are popping up to fill a need for informal gatherings spaces. Neither restaurant, nor bar, neighborhood taprooms are more like miniature community centers. Folks can pop in to meet up with friends, or meet new friends, play a game or two and enjoy some truly unique, delicious beer. Experience it for yourself in Ballard at the Stoup Taproom: 1108 NW 52nd St, Seattle, WA 98107
Check out Stoup Brewing’s website for more details: https://www.stoupbrewing.com/about/

About NWL: As a transplant to the Northwest over 25 years ago, I felt that a lot of people from here never fully explored what the Northwest has to offer. And as more people move into the region from around the globe, I wanted to share our take on what’s hip from British Columbia to Portland. (BC2PDX) Drawing from our creative roots, we are creating content covering a broad range of topics, from active lifestyles to food, travel, wellness and culture. So, check us out, share, comment and come back often.
