Bofrot or puff puff is a popular pastry in homes and streets in Africa and enjoyed by many! This is my mom’s recipe with a few turns that render the end product quite specia and rich!

Ingredients:

1 Tbsp instant yeast
1/2 cup sugar (white granulated)
500 g all purpose flour
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 tsp nutmeg (grated or powdered)
1/4 tsp baking soda
1 egg
1 Tbsp sour cream
50 g butter
